And then there were two.
This is the finale the whole world (ok, the whole Filipino nation here and abroad as well) is waiting for. I myself is very excited. Since the top 4, or probably even after she got saved, most of us are hoping she’ll be safe each week so she can continue on until the finale. And when the prayers were answered, we all rejoiced! I was tweeting yesterday while watching the results show via live streaming, and it felt like my heart stopped beating when Seacrest was about to announce the results. And when he called Jessica’s name as first one to be at the finale next week, I hit the wall! Not too hard though, but it throbbed for a few minutes. That’s how excited, and proud we are of Jessica. I have to admit, her being on the show is the main reason why I am watching it, again, religiously. I am glad she made it through!
And now that it’s down to two of them, since they offer two different sound, I am expecting a sort of a more varied finale. I’d be honest to say that I’ve not been a Phil fan ever since, but I gotta give it to him with the last episode. Like what Randy Jackson mentioned, he’s peaking at the right time. Of course, I am for Jessica in this. All the way. I hope she wins. Although Phil’s got a big fan base, too.
And in the spirit of my now defunct (haha) Idol posts Who Did It Best?, I will include a poll as to who do you think will win this season. I’m eager to see who you guys will be rooting for.
So, will Phil continue to shine and be named the new American Idol? Or will Jessica make history as the first Asian-American Idol, and the first grand winner who got saved? We’ll all find out next week. 🙂
