Last week, another dear friend of mine tied the knot. Dhang, one of my closest college friend, to Jeno, a guy she met in Dubai. They’ve been together for a couple of years now, I believe, and I’m just so happy for the both of them. Especially for Dhang, personally knowing what her struggles in life are, what she’s been through all these years.
What made this event extra special, aside from the fact that I was part of the entourage and I sang (as usual), was that it became a reunion of our college group Popoy. Some didn’t make it though, because they’re either abroad or had some family stuff to attend to. Nevertheless, it was bliss!
Since Dhang and I (and the rest of our college buddies) are friends for around 10 years now, she included Mom as one of their Ninangs, and also invited my twin brothers. Plus, my Dad was the one who drove us that day. So, it was indeed a special day with family and friends! I couldn’t be any happier!

We had fun at the reception, catching up and talking about some future plans too haha! Then came my singing part. The host made me sing three songs. It felt like I was having a concert LOL. After a few tics, another Popoy friend Alfred came, with his wife Aurora. It was such a fun night!
Here is our group’s parting shot, hoping to see each other again soon. Probably at another friend’s wedding or someone’s child’s baptismal? We’ll see.

Again, congratulations to Dhang and Jeno! May your love be strong enough to weather all the humps and hardships of marriage. I believe in you both that you can do it, and that you can stand the test of time despite of it all. All the best to both of you! 🙂
