That is our team’s entry for the office recycled Christmas tree-making contest. It is made out of a used “kulambo” or mosquito net, and a “sampayan” (dunno if there’s an english term for it haha). Our team really put a lot of effort in making it. It’s base is a teammate’s protein shake, covered by my Mom’s umbrella lace; the decorations were plastic cups, Flat Tops wrappers, Jellyace containers, and tahong shells; and an electric fan served as its star. I hope our team wins!
This one is a big Christmas tree made out of Lego pieces. This is displayed inside SM North The Block, and I was like a kid when I saw it! Around it are more Christmas inspired themes, like that of the Merlion in Singapore, the Petronas towers in Kuala Lumpur, the Great Wall of China, the Eiffel Tower in Paris, and a lot more!
And this last one is the giant Christmas tree of The Araneta Center. I am not sure how much this measures, but it’s huge I”m tellin’ ya! And beautiful! The lights are like icicles dropping. It never fails to make me smile every time I pass by this area going to work.
Advanced Happy Holidays! Enjoy the snow on my blog! 🙂
