I was able to watch Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows over the weekend with two of my friends and my brother. After two and a half hours of seemingly short period of time, I seriously wished for it to be July 2011 already. I loved how this film was adapted. As an avid reader of the book, I was a bit torn with the idea of the movie being in two parts. Of course I’d like to see how well it would be adapted on the big screen (and that’s exactly what the first part of HP7 depicted), but waiting for eight long months to watch the last part seems so far away I wanted to time-travel. If only I could.
But that could also mean that I’d be having an awful lot of time to read the book again. I actually am planning to read all the books anew from the first one, to relive the moments and see if this time I can get to read, understand and appreciate it in a more intense level. Like when Dobby died in the book; I was choking while reading the scene and nearly cried watching it on the big screen.
I hope my wand can make it happen. 🙂
