Let me start off this entry by saying that I am so disappointed to the voting public of American Idol. How can they let go of Brooke White? I really believe that she deserves to be the last girl standing. Or at least one of the top three. Syesha should’ve gone home like two or three weeks ago. Anyway, that’s how voting works and it just so happened that Brooke got the lowest out of the final five. I just sincerely think it’s a bit unfair that she got axed before Syesha. I’m so gonna miss Brooke! My heart’s totally Brooken!
I just so love Brooke. I liked her audition and I fell inlove with her during the Hollywood week! There’s really something, probably haunting, about her when she plays the piano and the guitar, outstandingly complementing her equally haunting voice. And true enough, after nailing songs like You’re So Vain, Love is a Battlefield, Let It Be, Every Breath You Take, among many others, she really proved to be one of the front-runner on the competition. Even if she made some mistakes on performing live, like starting over on Every Breath You Take and forgetting the lyrics on You Must Love Me, she can get away with it by giving her whole heart in singing throughout the entire song. You can feel her emotions connecting to the song she’s singing. A local radio jock also once quoted that her aura can really tell that she’s a geniunely nice person even if she’s trying to hide it. That’s why I so love her! “I got hooked on Brooke!”, at one point in my life. She’s such a rave worthy artist.
And now that America already sent her packing, it would now be a melancholic show for me. Watching it without her would be such a disaster! Sighs. Anyway, I am absolutely positive that even if she didn’t became the grand winner, we’ll surely be seeing more of her on the future. She’ll definitely make it big! Or she can probably go back as a nanny. I’d gladly hire her!
